In this second session of the OTechTalks Podcast, we are going to cover the basic concept of Application Tier, Oracle eBusiness Suite R12. What is the role of Application Tier/node in EBS including Web and Forms Services and What is Concurrent processing, what are the basic tool used for Application Tier/Node Administration.

Application Tier/Node or Middle Tier hosting the various servers and service groups that process the business logic and managing communication between the desktop tier and the database tier.

The Web services component of Oracle Application Server processes requests received over the network from the desktop clients

Forms services in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 are provided by the Forms listener servlet, and this facilitates the use of firewalls, load balancing, proxies, and other networking options.
